In the casino on the hotel end there is some new construction as it appears the area is being enlarged. A new addition is under construction adjacent to the present hotel. The one hotel on the casino grounds had lots of customer from the number of cars we saw parked on the lot. The new El Fenix was open and Toby Keith’s is alway a popular sop. There is a poker room, a bingo room, gift shop and several restaurants. The other room closest to the hotel did have all high dollar slot machines. There are a couple of “high limits” slot rooms which i was told about, however what i found in one was a lot of $1 machines. Black Jack and other card games seemed to always have table space except for the really low dollar games. Getting ca seat at the two roulette places is not going to be easy. The roulette machines though are electronic and there is not roulette table. There are thousands of slot machines with so many different models that I did not even know they existed.

I look upon this as entertainment and budget my self the amount I am willing to lose-like I said-not win. In my case I came away with a few bucks more for the day, however that is not normally the case. You take a chance and may-just maybe you might win. It is certainly not a venue where you go for a guaranteed payout. Since the casino is only a little over an hour form my pale in Dallas, away we went. After reading many of the comments where a “one star” rating was given, I was beginning to wonder if I should make the trip.
